Sup folks. It's DBV back with another play. Last one was a loser, but lets get back on track. Tonight a game that has been popping out is the Angels vs Mariners game at 10 o clock. Halos have Ervin Santana on the mound while the Mariners have Doug Fister pitching for them. I checked out the public percentages on this game and everyone and their mommas are on the Angels. Santana has won his last 6 starts on the road. But the key to that are that the Angels are backing him up with run support. So why am i playing the Mariners you might ask. Ichiro and Beltre will be in the line up tonight after that embarassing 10-0 loss at home last night. Santana hasn't really been all that good. But all signs point to the Halos and no way they lose right? WRONG! Like i said earlier, EVERYONE is on the Halo's tonight. Do you really think Vegas will get pounded? I don't think so. Everyone loves betting the Angels each and every night because they can score so much runs and they are never out of the game. Here are some trends that point to the Angel's

• Angels are 4-1 in their last 5 road games vs. a right-handed starter.
• Angels are 4-1 in their last 5 games as a favorite of -110 to -150.

• Angels are 7-1 in Santanas last 8 road starts vs. a team with a winning record.
• Angels are 5-1 in Santanas last 6 starts.
• Angels are 5-1 in Santanas last 6 starts as a road favorite.

I know peopel don't like going against trends, but when 90% of the public is on a road favorite against a pretty good home team in Seattle, YOU HAVE TO DO IT! I remember a numerous times this year when all the trends were pointing to one team and public pounded and it lost. This is definately one of those times. Being embarassed 10-0 the night before, you better bet your bottoms that the Mariners will come out and play hard. Even though Halo's are the better team, Seattle takes this one tonight boys. GL

Alright. Tampa Bay Rays vs Detroit Tigers. Exciting matchup and game 1 of the series is tomorrow. I am a HUGE Detroit Fan, since i am from the D. Tigers first game back from the West Coast Games. Rick Porcello will be on the mound tomorrow. He isn't as good as his record indicates. Its because the Tigers are backing him up with runs. This Tampa Bay Rays team is a pretty good hitting team and I see Rick getting lit up tomorrow night. Out of his last 10 games he has started, he's only lasted 1 time past the 5th inning. Don't get me started with the Tigers Bullpen...They BLOW! If Tampa is going to win this series they will need to win this game. I know that Garza sucks playing against Detroit going 0-3 with a 4.94 earn run average and that Detroit has dominated Tampa when they are at home winning 10 out of the last 15, but something tells me to play the Rays. I mean this is a very good spot to back Tampa Bay because of the West Coast Swing and Tampa is inching closer to the wild card spot.

Here are some interesting trends to look at...

 

.Rays are 7-1 in Garzas last 8 starts after scoring 2 runs or less in their previous game.

• Rays are 5-1 in Garzas last 6 Friday starts.
• Rays are 4-1 in Garzas last 5 starts during game 1 of a series.
• Tigers are 1-4 in Porcellos last 5 starts with 4 days of rest.
• Tigers are 1-4 in Porcellos last 5 starts vs. American League East.

 

This line is just absurd to be honest. It should really be closer to even. The Rays' problem this season has been on the road. If they would only have a .500 record on the road, they'd be right in on this race. They are 9 games under .500 on the road while the Tigers are 20...thats right TWENTY(40-20) games over .500 at home. Throw the pitching matchup out the window here, the Tigers should not be home dogs and the Rays should not be home favs. But the question is, why would vegas set a line like this. Getting Detroit Tigers at + money at home has to be too easy right? NOPE in my opinion i believe people will pound Detroit tomorrow and vegas will cash in.  This is one of those tough games that stand out. But this is the only game i can see the Rays winning in this series. The other games will be awfully tough for them to win since Saturday and Sunday is a home day game and Detroit has been very good during the day especially at home. If you plan on betting the Rays i would suggest waiting because i beleive the line will fall to pretty close to even money. Just wait until all the idiots pound the Tigers and then we take advantage. I hate betting against the Tigers because they are my favorite team but tomorrow is a good spot so let's do this shit and win. PEACE!
